no blogging time today

Just a quick note as I’m finishing packing before leaving tomorrow to Johannesburg, South Africa, for another Microsoft event and some tourism. Totsiens! }:)

Got back from Oslo in good shape (if we except this small sore throat due to too much talking which seemed not to like the -10�C of Oslo). I had a wonderful time and seized the opportunity to visit some places I highly reccomend you.

I’m back in my hotel in Oslo, after having a very nice day at the offices of Microsoft Norway giving a pair of talks on how ASP.NET compares to PHP as a web development platform (expect the slides as soon as I can organize the demos)

about women and science

Today I missed an event I was very interested in: a roundtable about Women and Science taking place in the Engineering School of the University of Seville. What I won’t miss is the oportunity to comment on something related to IEEE and which was one of the reasons why I wanted to assist: the IEEE Women in Engineering committee (http://www.ieee.org/committee/women)
