Just in case: is there anything you want me to ask?

Will let you know more after the event… meanwhile, you can also check her blog here

how to write a proper CV

the other day, while looking for info to send to a friend that wants to apply for a job at Google, I noticed that my favourite page from Google Job site was not linked from where I expected it to be! Well, the site is under revamping sothings like this are expected, but I thought about keeping a link here just for future reference, as this is probably the best collection of tips on how to write a resume for a engineering job I’ve seen so far:

Google CV tips

excuses, excuses…

Mmm… welll, I should be able to find a proper excuse for not writing here at all during all this time… I don´t know, like “my dog ate my keyboard” or “the building I was in collapsed and it took me all this time just to get out of there… and I’ve posted this entry as soon as I got out!”

… or, even better “I was busy saving the planet of an invasion of giant killer-bugs!” After all, for that one I’ve got evidence here in Google Maps!

But nope, none of that has happened, I’ve just been very busy with other things, like travelling around for work, work itself and IEEE SBC in Paris (hey, we even have pictures!)

But I promise to be a good boy and post more often…

… oh! and eat all my vegetables and go early to bed, of course… };P

P.S. btw, did I mention I’m running on the next elections for IEEE Vicechair of Student Activities for Region 8? Wish me luck!
